Yes. Real Brave has worked with students with special needs for over twenty years. Teachers adapt pacing, lesson length, and structure to each student, and lessons can be 20, 30, or 60 minutes. Tell us about your student when you book — we match teachers accordingly.
Are lessons in-person or online?
Both. Students can take lessons at our Oakland, NJ studio or live online through PracticePad™ — weekly assignments, video tutorials, teacher messaging, scheduling, rescheduling, progress tracking, and parent visibility included.
How do we get started with DDD-funded lessons?
Book a free consultation — on the phone, in person at the studio, or online. We'll discuss your student's needs, instrument, and schedule, walk you through the DDD paperwork, and book a free trial lesson.
What is the DDD music lesson process?

Do you adapt lesson length for students who need it?

Can lessons happen at home?
Yes, through live 1-on-1 online lessons in PracticePad™ — often the best option for students for whom a new environment is the hardest part. In-studio lessons in Oakland are also available.
Do you have experience with nonverbal students?
