Can a microschool enroll a whole cohort?
Yes — cohort billing, a director dashboard with progress on every student, and the option to assign one teacher across your group. Built for small-school operators, not just individual families.
Do lessons happen at our space or yours?
Either. Virtual lessons work from any quiet room with a laptop; NJ-area cohorts can also book blocks at the Oakland studio, stage included.
What does it cost per student?
Cohort rates depend on group size and lesson length — most groups land near standard tier pricing with a group discount. Get in touch and we'll quote your roster.
How do families see progress?
Every family gets their own PracticePad™ login for their student — videos, skills, and reports — while you keep the cohort-level view.
How does cohort billing work for a microschool?
We invoice the school or program directly for the whole cohort on one statement rather than chasing individual families, and directors get a dashboard with progress on every student.
Can all our students learn different instruments?
Yes. Within one weekly block, students can each take a different instrument with a different specialist teacher — guitar, piano, drums, bass or voice.
What is the minimum cohort size?
We have run programs from four students up to well over a dozen. Tell us your roster and schedule at consultation and we will build the block around it.
Do students in a microschool get to perform?
Yes — cohorts can perform at our Oakland showcases, and we can help structure an end-of-term performance for your own community.
